Countries in Transition Pre-congress Forum:
Expanding Our Horizons for Child Protection (Çocuk Korumada Ufukları Genişletmek)
This is a skills-building day with panel discussions on ciritcal focuses followed by a choice of concurrent discussions on a variety of related topics. The Forum is designed specifically for participants from countries in Africa, Arab, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America regionswhere work is in progress to develop child protection and child welfare systems.

Pre-Congress Master Class: Getting it right from start to finish:
The critical importance of assessment and comprehensive intervention
This is a skills-building opportunity for attendees to explore various perspectives of a single topic in depth from experts within their respective fields. Both pre and post assessments will be explored through the lens of physical abuse, sexual abuse, adolescent children, and legal proceedings. The event will feature Lunch with the Experts, an opportunity for a face-to-face interaction between the six presenters and attendees.

XIX International Congress: Every Child Matters:
Promoting Local, National and International Partnerships for Protecting Children
Decades of work have shown that the most effective way to harness the fight against child abuse is through collaboration on resources and efforts. This congress will focus on building partnerships and the best ways to integrate human resources in order to prevent, detect and to effectively intervene with child abuse and neglect around the globe.
